CiAT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Counselors in Action Tanzania (CiAT) is a Non-profit Organization which seek to see that the counseling profession is given its due importance and recognition in the country and the counseling services are utilized for the betterment of the citizens at an individual and group level.
As body of professional counselors, CiAT operate ethically in helping an individual to meet his mental and psychological healing because this is in the heart of our activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In his/her capacity as Operations Manager, the employee will perform and execute honestly and to the best of his/her professional ability, experience and knowledge such works and duties as follows:
1. Promote the organization’s vision, mission, and core values and make sure that organizational goals are achieved.
2. Keep all official records and documents of the organization in a proper place and order to ensure safety and confidentiality
3. Maintain good relationship with clients and staff.
4. Coordinate the duties and functions of departments as well as stakeholders of the organization
5. Ensure proper management and custody of office facilities and organization's assets.
6. Organize visitation of organization’s guests to include booking arrangements, travelling, meeting, and record taking.
7. Prepare various programs which can be implemented by the organization
8. Follow-up on various outstanding issues to make sure that they are implemented as planned
9. Make sure that various company bills are paid timely to avoid penalties
10. To ensure that operational related key deliverables are achieved to the satisfaction of the required targets and beyond.
11. Do all operational related duties as will be directed by the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES:
A prospective candidate should be and/or posses the following qualifications:
1. Attentive to details
2. Proactive and self-motivated
3. Able to work under pressure
4. A Teachable and learning attitude
5. A Volunteering spirit
6. A University Degree or Masters in the field of Counseling and Psychology
7. Good Counseling and Therapeutical skills
8. Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Swahili
9. Strong organizational and managerial skills
10. Excellent analytical and research skills
11. Ability and flexibility in working with people of diverse background
12. Mastery of computer applications especially Microsoft Office
EXPERIENCE IN THE RELATED JOB WILL BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE
