Counselling is a helping profession, it empowers the client to attain full potential and maintain normal daily functioning and live a more satisfying life.It is a process that facilitates a client personal growth and healing process. It is for normal people going through normal life challenges such as academic, relationship, and identity.
Who is a Counsellor?
A professional who empowers and facilitates a client’s personal growth process and problem solving
What happens during a counseling session;
Client consent (permission)to participate in the session is sought during the initial session
What client discloses is kept confidential
The client is encouraged to express and explore their feeling, thought, and behavior.

The client may be given psycho-education to gain knowledge in and a better understanding of their issue(s) or problem situation
