| 3. | Responds to crises and traumatic events that occur in the country by providing post-traumatic and crisis counseling |
| 4. | Offers opportunity for students studying counseling courses in Tanzanian Universities and Colleges to practice counseling skills and methods in real counseling settings under the supervision of counseling professionals. |
| 5. | Offers short courses on counseling and psychology related issues such as Addictions, Drug Abuse, and Trauma and Crisis intervention. |
| 6. | Develops various learning materials for counseling and training counselors. |
| 7. | Provides psycho-education in schools, churches, mosques, armies, and public meetings |
| 8. | Provides in-house training to different professionals and paraprofessionals on counseling skills and methods |
| 9. | Designs the contents and methods of counseling training courses and programs to meet the needs of different targets groups in Tanzania |
| 10. | Organizes workshops, seminars, study tours, and other outreach programs which bring together counselors from within and outside the country to learn, share experiences, and rejuvenate. |
| 11. | Establish and maintain a counselors’ directory as well as linking counselors and potential clients (both individual and corporate) across the country |
| 12. | Run counseling centers and rehabilitation centers for drug addicts, vulnerable children and people with special needs. |
